| Hello, my name is Kiko Mendoza. I am 18 years old and attend Cheyenne Eagle Butte High School where I am in the 12th grade. I am finally in my last year of high school and counting down the days until graduation. I transferred from Takini to C-EB last fall as a Junior. The move was actually pretty easy to adjust to and I like it a lot here at C-EB. |

I was born January 1, 1990 in Sioux Falls, S.D. I was three months premature and 2lbs 3ounces. My parents are Larry and Wendy Mendoza. My dad is retired and watches my niece Esperanza at home while my mom is a South Dakota Gear-Up representative. I also have three brothers and one sister. Paul Mendoza who is a tug boat captain in Seattle, Washington, Willie White who is a plumber in Pine Ridge, Sam who is attending Black Hills State University, and Shannon who is a part time college student at BH and works at a beauty salon. |
| Recently this fall my Cross Country team won the Class A State Cross Country Meet. We won by a huge margin and no team came close to us. I also became the first ever 4x State XC Champ in South Dakota history. On top of that we also won the Girls/Boys Combined Team Title. We surprised a lot of doubters and made believers proud. |

| I enjoy a lot of different hobbies. Hunting, fishing, and camping are high on my list. As for sports, I don't know what I would do without them. I play basketball, golf, and run track and cross country. I used to rodeo a lot when I was younger but it slipped away from me when I found out I could run. | |
| I like listening to old rock, blues, and country but I can listen to pretty much anything. ZZ Top, Foghat, AC/DC, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings are some of my favorites. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are my favorite college basketball team. Their going to win a national championship this march! Steve Prefontaine would be my favorite runner and Paulo Crimber is my favorite bull rider. |
